Procurement Officer (Mechanical) (oil & gas )+(petrochemical)

is currently seeking a Procurement Officer to join our team. As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process of goods and services for the company. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services at competitive prices.Responsibilities: Plan and implement procurement strategies to meet company objectives Identify potential suppliers and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers Conduct market research and analysis to source the best quality products and services at competitive prices Negotiate contracts, terms, and prices with suppliers Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order Ensure timely delivery of goods and services Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards Mechanical Background Mechanical - Shutdown & Turnarounds Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field Proven experience as a procurement officer or in a similar role Knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and best practices Strong negotiation and communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations Professional certification in procurement is a plus
