OVERVIEWPosition Manager, Construction Sites Security Job Code Division Public SafetyDepartment Security Operations Role Purpose The day-to-day management of security contractors guarding Communities and vital facilities. The roles core functions will be to manage and safeguard employee and guests' safety and security. Manage access control and perimeter security by monitoring, educating security teams of eclectic background and cultures by ensuring compliance of the highest standards and supporting Security. The role will require a high level of interpersonal skill, diplomacy, and a culturally appropriate attitude that perfectly embodies diversity's mindset. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES Support the Project Security Team in ensuring perimeter security of all communities, that communities remain safe and secure, free from intruders, and unauthorized persons. Support Project Security Team by ensuring that access control to all communities and facilities is of the highest standards and that security contractors fully understand and implement strict but seamless access control required in a fast-moving, fast-growing organisation. Act as central point of contact for Project Security Team in liaising with contractor security stakeholders, including Project Directors, Security Managers, subcontractors and third parties. Conduct and assist in investigations into security incidents across construction sites, communities including but not restricted to; unauthorized access, theft, anti-social behaviors, traffic and road violations, serious incidents and injuries that occur within areas of responsibility.Facilitate site security assessments, collate reports, and action plans for continuous improvements. Generate appropriate and where necessary, actionable incident reports, leading to the implementation of recommendations.Daily monitoring and review of security procedures and measures across Communities and areas of responsibility, ensuring maintenance of high standards, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Responsible for supervising the security and integrity of areas of responsibility, by inspecting various security contractors, standards, procedures, and attendance. Responsible for development, implementation, management, and continuous improvement of Site Security Instructions (SSI's), identifying deficiencies, creating action plans for improvement and training plans if required. Liaise between employees, residents, and contractors in investigating observations and/or complaints. Ability to embed operational frameworks, processes, and management controls to protect people, assets, and equipment. • Ability to work in an ambiguous and demanding desert environment and work with ideas and unregulated spaces. BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Relevant years' experience in Security at managerial level with compliance and audit experience. Knowledge of security systems and solutions. Evidence of implementing security procedures, knowledge of crisis and emergency response. Demonstrated ability to work in a complex, multi-national operational environment.Ability to build relationships, facilitate collaboration and engage stakeholders at all levels and possess a strong sense of ownership. Strong computer competency in office productivity tools, particularly MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Basic or advanced Arabic language a definite advantage.Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Fluent in English.
