A large and renowned diversified group dealing in Automotive, Aviation, Freight & Car Lease is seeking highly skilled and experienced for Head Logistics(Group Leadership role).The person will be responsible for overseeing all logistics operations at the group level, ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of goods and materials across the organization.As the Head of Logistics, he will be responsible for developing strategies and implementing processes to optimize logistics operations. He will manage a team of logistics professionals, providing leadership and guidance to drive performance and achieve departmental objectives.The successful candidate should have a strong background in logistics management, with a proven track record of success in overseeing complex and high-volume logistics operations. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential, as one needs to work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate Inbound/Outbound Logistics. Also, he should have a strong analytical mindset and the ability to identify and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiencies.Responsibilities:Coordinate and manage the transportation of vehicles and automotive partsOversee the warehousing and inventory management of automotive goodsEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standardsCollaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain processesEstablish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other external stakeholdersOversee all logistics operations at the group level, ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of goods and materials.Manage a team of logistics professionals, providing leadership and guidance to drive performanceEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standardsMonitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvementDrive cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities to streamline logistics processesDevelop and implement strategic plans for all automotive logistics operations Upload your resume and our tool will compare it to the requirements for this job like recruiters do.
