Customer Service/Call Center Agent BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Remote Customer Service/Call center Agent. Position Title : Customer Service Representative Location: Remote Anticipated Start Date: Tentative start Date 05/16/2024 Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 06+ months Contract with a strong possibility of extension Job Type: Contract (40 HRS WEEKLY), [CONTRACT], [REMOTE] Pay Range: $14/hr - $15/hr Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). - The Remote Customer Care Agents will support the client.
- They will specifically support the users who utilize the Financial Banking Cards.
- In slower times, they will be able to support other areas of the business.
- This will only be handling inbound calls.
- Defines or resolves inquiries received either through written or telephone correspondence.
- Answers questions regarding payment posting, payment disbursement, account histories, and card inquiries.
- Provides requested information.
- Maintain updated records and logs.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in telephone customer service.
- Knowledge of the use of PCs and related software.
- Must pass PC Knowledge Test.
- Ability to navigate Internet Explorer and other Customer service applications and tools using multiple sessions.
- Experience in data entry (alpha and numeric) or with a 10-key calculator with minimal error ratio.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle highly stressful situations with professionalism and excellent quality
