Job Summary This position functions within the Content Group and Digital units of IU Radio/TV to develop robust and interactive digital infrastructure for indianapublicmedia.org, the home of NPR member station WFIU Public Radio, and PBS member station WTIU Public TV. Specific technologies used include Java, Apache Velocity, shell scripting, PHP, MySQL. Applicants should be familiar with a Linux environment, version control, application deployment and containerization, and networking technologies such as DNS and TLS. Working Conditions / Demands This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation. Work Location Bloomington, Indiana Following a 6-month probation period, this position is eligible for a hybrid remote work schedule, subject to change in the future based on university policy and business needs. Advertised Salary $47,000.04 per year and $52,000.08 per year dependent upon experience and internal equity.
