Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their team and oversee their affordable housing and residential interior projects located in Manhattan and Brooklyn. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.   • Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, including affordable housing developments and residential interior renovations.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Oversee the procurement process, including bid solicitation, contract negotiation, and subcontractor selection.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or delays that arise.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being performed according to plans and specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to resolve design issues and ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and payment applications.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status and address any questions or concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards.
Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on affordable housing and residential interiors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
  • Experience managing project budgets and financial reporting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity with green building practices and sustainability initiatives is a plus.
