Title: Lead Data Architect/ Senior Business Analyst (6-12 months Contract, extendable) [Insurance industry and data driven projects is a necessity] Location: Hong Kong (Hong Kong Island) Salary Range. Negotiable Languages: English is a must (plus Cantonese is desirable to synergies with local projects team) Client Summary One of the leading Life and Health Insurance groups is seeking to develop an bancassurance data solution to integrate all data from different systems and data centers into on unified, accessible platform, likely to be on Microsoft Azure. This new DataMart solution will be split into two phases and require the design and launch of a MVP (Minimum Viable Product) demo to assess the solution’s suitability and viability. Role: Lead Data Architect, who will manage a small team to –
- Lead and manage a series of client facing discussions and information gathering sessions to understand the full scope and specifications of the client’s requirements.
- Develop a target solution architecture design and artefacts across a data platform, including the data integration, required Azure cloud infrastructure and the implementation of a series of processes for data integration and data flow
- Outline the key design decisions with options, pros & cons and potential technical limitations and scalability factors.
- Lead architecture & data mart design walkthrough meetings with relevant key technical stakeholders to seek for design decision endorsement.
- Coordinate with MVP implementation team to ensure the design and scope has consistency between MVP and target state/ final solution.
- Escalate any technical architecture issues to relevant key stakeholders and look for resolutions,
- Facilitate the solution approval process by working closely with relevant stakeholders.
- Based in Hong Kong
- Experienced in insurance industry projects.
- Excellent spoken and written communications skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving skills that produce pragmatic and achievable solutions/ results
- Experience in Azure data solution design and implementation.
- Skilled in team management
- Proficient in managing stakeholders for large-scale regional transformations.
- Bilingual in English and Cantonese (Cantonese is a preferred but not requisite)
