The Account Manager (d/f/m) - Biotech for Cytiva is responsible to develop the growth strategy in that region. This position is part of the Sales Team EMEA and will be fully remote . The suitable candidate should live in the region of South/Middle Germany (Mainz, Frankfurt, Tübingen or Stuttgart etc.). At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Expand the business, gain market share, and grow sales & order at expected margins. Achieve annual/quarterly targets through successful promotion of all business technologies and capabilities within all modalities which are relevant to this account
- Provide technical support, leveraging technical specialists where needed, aligned with customer workflows and activities to develop, and support solutions that meet or exceed the customers’ expectations
- Prospecting, forecasting, generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, initiating, and planning customer visits at all levels of the customer organization
- Negotiating master agreements and contracts, including terms and conditions as well as facilitating tender responses, in conjunction with product sales specialists as needed
- Master Degree in molecular biology, gene therapy, biotechnology or similar. A PhD is an asset but not mandatory
- First years of commercial experience in the Biotechnology industrial sector
- Territories sales planning and business market knowledge
- Sales technique including cross selling, upselling, value positions, solution selling and funnel management
- Very good MS-Office skills, QlikSense and Sales Force would be an advantage
- Very good English and German language skills
- Working in a bigger international environment, but not a must
