Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive business support for the segregated account business in the Asia-Pacific region, including negotiating investment management agreements (IMAs) for the client base.
- Project manage workloads, foster relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., Client Relationship Management, Take-on teams, Legal & Compliance, Portfolio Management), and support other regions as needed, with a primary focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
- Contribute to broader initiatives and documentation relating to various aspects of the asset management business.
- Possess a solid understanding of the asset management industry, institutional client base, and investment management agreements, coupled with knowledge of financial services regulations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in funds and other commercial contracts within the asset management sector.
- A minimum of 4 years' PQE in a major law firm and/or in-house at a sell-side or buy-side financial institution.
- Exhibit professional maturity, confidence, initiative, good judgment, and a practical and commercially-minded outlook.
- Showcase strong drafting, negotiation, organizational, written and oral communication skills.
- Display an aptitude for risk and controls, along with the ability to influence outcomes and stakeholders.
- Possess experience in people management.
