VP Business Control, Treasury, Chinese Bank

Your new company A Chinese Bank providing a broad spectrum of financial services including business banking, wholesale banking as well as global markets and treasury solutions. Your new role

• Work with internal parties to assist in the update of Treasury related workflows, procedures and guidelines;
• Implement internal controls to ensure daily activities by Treasury traders and marketers are in compliance to HKMA guidelines and internal procedures;
• Drive the process review and validation initiative especially in the planning and fieldwork of the validation process in order to assess the effectiveness of treasury controls;
• Assist in operational risk monitoring and to implement proper controls and measures to address operational risk issues / audit findings;
• Assist in the preparation of the annual Risk and Control Self-Assessment for Treasury Department;
• Assist in all Treasury projects from a control perspective;
• Work with Controls & Compliance Group to drive and implement various control initiatives in Treasury Department ;
• Work with Internal Audit to resolve Treasury Department audit issues;

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree holder in Business, Economics or Finance or related disciplines;
• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience and preferable related to treasury;
• Good knowledge in treasury products, bonds, FX/ Interest Rate Derivatives preferred;
• Holder of Certified Treasury Management Professional (CTMP) under the HKMA ECF on TM is preferred.
