A Financial Institution with steady expansion plan is currently looking for a brand-new Cybersecurity Specialist in HK to focus on regional support. Responsiblities
- Perform IT security control review and support to manage Cybersecurity/security related projects
- Collaborate and analyze of cyber threat intelligence and participate in IT security investigations
- Analyze threat intelligence data to proactively identify potential risks and develop strategies for mitigating them
- Assist to perform risk control self-assessment on cyber security risk
- Conducting cybersecurity risk assessment and management on network, applications, email, endpoint, IAM, data, user awareness and third-party;
- Evaluating and implement emerging technologies to continuously improve cybersecurity maturity in terms of network, application, email, endpoint, IAM, data, user awareness and third-party domains
- Updating cybersecurity documentation reflecting the up-to-date security baseline
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage cybersecurity incident
- Implementing and monitoring cybersecurity metrics and regularly report to the regional team
- Acting as a cyber security consultant to assist business units in developing cybersecurity related businesses
- University degree holder in Business Information Systems, Computer Science or related disciplines
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in cybersecurity & risk management, preferably within financial services
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are highly desirable.
- Knowledge and experience with data protection, data privacy laws, regulations and industry requirements as well as best practices
- Knowledge of financial instruments, derivatives, and risk management.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
