Senior Tester

The Company We are currently working with a leading global bank in Hong Kong and is seeking a qualified and experienced KYC specialist to join our team. The Role We are seeking a skilled Tester with experience in both automation and manual testing to join our dynamic team. As a Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software and applications through comprehensive testing procedures. Fluency in Cantonese is required for effective communication with stakeholders. Your Profile Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
• Identify, document, and report software defects and issues using appropriate tracking tools.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing to ensure software meets quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Conduct thorough analysis of test results and provide recommendations for improvements and issue resolution.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Continuously update and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
• Develop and implement effective test strategies, considering project requirements and constraints.
• Provide formal training on software testing methodologies and techniques to team members.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Tester with at least 5 years of experience, focusing on both automation and manual testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
• Solid understanding of programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Fluency in Cantonese and English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with Cantonese-speaking stakeholders.
• ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• Formal training on software testing methodologies and techniques.
