Job details
- Supervise a team to control and manage non-performing assets and impairment loss
- Oversee the team’s compliance and adherence to the legal and regulatory requirements, the Bank’s corporate values and culture, internal policies and guidelines
- Formulate debt recovery strategies and direct the team to execute
- Recommend asset classification based on HKMA Guideline, Bank’s Policies and case circumstances and stage 3 provisions for non-performing assets
- Prepare/Co-ordinate reports in relation to non-performance loan according to the Bank’s policies and coordinate reports of the stage 1 and 2 provisions for the Bank’s asset portfolios, in accordance with the Bank’s established policy
- Approve debt restructuring, security enforcement, institution of legal proceedings etc. within the delegated authorization limit per grade of the role
- Approve debt restructuring, security enforcement, institution of legal proceedings, provisions, asset classifications etc. as a member of NPL Committee
