  • A well developed Chinese Corporate bank is looking for a Senior Manager of Regulatory Reporting
Your new role
  • Prepare HKMA banking returns and HKMA survey in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • To prepare and submit HKMA returns mainly focusing on assets and liabilities, loans and advances and provision, large exposure with a high quality and standard
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate regulatory reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Prepare Head Office reports and monthly Balance Sheet for head office review.
  • Prepare forecasted balance sheet bi-weekly for profit estimation.
  • Collaborate with various business units to ensure changes in business practices are reflected in regulatory reporting.
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory compliance matters to facilitate new business initiatives.
  • To perform automation project and UAT testing in a timely basis
  • To liaise with risk department to identify possible data integrity issue in regulatory reporting perspective
  • Manage and monitor the regulatory reporting process, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and reconciliation of key metrics.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial controls within the regulatory reporting framework.
  • Continuously review and enhance reporting processes to improve efficiency while maintaining high standards of control and quality.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience; 8+ years in regulatory reporting within the banking sector, preferably with exposure to Chinese corporate banking.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and reporting systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Great communication skills, fluency Mandarin Chinese is essential.
