Cyber Security Architect/Engineer BC forward is currently seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Engineer for an opportunity in Remote Position Title: Cyber Security Engineer Location: Remote Anticipated Start Date: 04/20/204 Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. Expected Duration: 6+ months contract + renewable Job Type: [Contract (40 HRS WEEKLY) [CONTRACT], [Remote] Pay Range: $83-$85/hr Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Job Description: Lead special projects or investigations into specific technology or solution issues and to shepherd research and piloting of new technologies. Serve as a point of contact for engineering efforts and has overall responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the customer's private enclave while maintaining compliance with the customer's enterprise-wide architecture policies and guidelines. Responsibilities:
- Provides security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management.
- Validates and verifies system security requirements definitions and analysis and establishes system security designs
- Designs, develops, implements and/or integrates IA and security systems and system components including those for networking, computing, and enclave environments to include those with multiple enclaves and with differing data protection/classification requirements
- Builds IA into systems deployed to operational environments.
- 10+ years of related experience in cybersecurity and NIST standards along with 5+ years of technical writing .
- CompTIA Security +
- CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer or CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker
- CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor
- CISSP
- CISSP-ISSEP
- CISSP-ISSAP
- CISSP-ISSMP preferred
