The Account Manager (d/f/m) Bioprocess/Biopharma isresponsible for representing the complete portfolio of Cytiva´ssolutions, products and services and is acting as the primarycustomer point of contact in all allocated accounts and in theregion of N orth Germany (Berlin,Hamburg,Hannover). Thisposition is part of the Bioprocess Sales organization and will be fully remote andrequires a travelling activity of approx. 50%. At Cytiva, ourvision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery todelivery. What youwill do:
- Map the structureof customer contacts within selected accounts, forming strongbusiness relationships by regular customer field visits tounderstand the external customer's business issues and challengeswithin the field of Biologics. Actively position Cytiva as atrusted partner with respect to the company´svision
- Take personal ownership to drive andmanage the commercial positioning of Cytiva, whilst also supportingthe scientific positioning and capabilities of the company and inso doing actively lead find and develop new business opportunitiesto accelerate growth
- Engage sales specialistsin both the design and execution of account business plans and toundertake a key role in driving effective local team work within acomplex global matrix sales environment
- To thendesign with specialist colleagues using sales tools, a businessprocess focused at delivering customer expectations andaccelerating Cytiva's growth within the account by meetingidentified scientific and commercialneeds
- Accurately forecast sales and growthopportunities within designated territory, using sales tools andapplications
- Successfulcompleted studies in the field of Life Sciences discipline isrequired. A Ph.D. and a strong background in acell/molecular/protein biology or bioengineering background is anasset
- Several years of experiences in acommercial role, preferably in the biotechnology industry orrelated scientific work experience
- Stronginfluencing, interpersonal, networking, and communication skills todrive collaborative culture at all levels from Process Developmentscientist to C-Suite
- Self-starter - able tomanage time, organize and prioritizeworkload
- Fluently German and English languageskills
- Already deeperunderstanding of Biopharma customers’ needs and business drivers,using this knowledge to develop account plans andstrategies
- Experience working in a matrixenvironment and managing multiple priorities through successfulexecution
