The State and Local Tax Manager will oversee all sales and use tax filings across multiple states. This position is 100% remote and an exciting opportunity to join a growing team. Client Details Our client is a specialty construction company with multiple locations throughout North America. Their business is expanding, and are looking to hire a State and Local Tax Manager to join their accounting team. Description
- Manage state and local sales and use tax filings
- Analyze tax laws and track legislative changes that can impact business
- Create and implement tax policies and processes
- Work closely with accounting team on tax financial reporting and record keeping
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study
- Minimum five years of experience in corporate or public accounting
- Extensive knowledge of state and local tax regulations
- Construction industry experience required
