Accounting Manager | Highly Acquisitive F500 Company

I am partnered with the Controller of a $6B, publicly traded company that is looking for an Accounting Manager to join one of the company's largest business units! The Accounting Manager will take ownership of the accounting and finance processes and procedures for the business unit, overseeing a team of 3. In addition to month-end close, you will oversee new business initiatives, work on M&A integration strategy, process improvements, and more! Client Details My client is a $6B, publicly traded organization that is seeking an Accounting Manager to partner with the Controller to run one of the company's most successful business units! My client is a F500 industry leader in their niche and are looking to expand their team due to an internal promotion! As the Accounting Manager you will oversee one of their US regions with support from the CAO and Controller to take full ownership the accounting and finance processes and procedures within the business unit! You will oversee a team of 3 and take full ownership of month end close, partner cross-functionally on new business initiatives, budgeting, and development of new processes and procedures. In addition to that, my client is HIGHLY acquisitive! They have acquired 2 new businesses to expand their operations in the last year with plans to continue to grow both through acquisition and organically! • Own month-end close, conducting balance sheet reviews, journal entry reviews, etc.
• Preparation and review of monthly financial statement reports
• Key liaison between the Corporate Accounting and Business Unit Accounting team, monitoring compliance and ensuring consistency with accounting guidelines
• Active role in the forecasting and budgeting process for the Business Unit
• Maintain and improve documentation of accounting procedures and internal controls
• Responsible for integration during M&A transactions
• Oversee a team of 3 direct reports
• Oversee special projects as assigned including but not limited to bench marking projects, M&A transaction support, etc.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of experience with accounting
• Experience leading a team
• CPA/MBA is a plus!
• Effective communication skills is a must, both written and verbal
• Impeccable attention to detail
