The Application Specialist Clinical Microbiology South Germany (d/f/m) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for ensuring successful implementation and utilization of our microbiology diagnostics instruments and solutions. This position is part of the Beckman Coulter Microbiology Team located in Germany and will be fully remote . You will be a part of the Beckman Coulter Microbiology Team and report to the Sales Manager Microbiology Germany responsible for ensuring successful implementation and utilization of our microbiology diagnostics instruments and solutions. - Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical microbiology, demonstrating a deep understanding of laboratory procedures, protocols, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, technical discussions, and customer training.
- Provide on-site or remote training to laboratory staff on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of microbiology diagnostic instruments.
- Assist customers in setting up and optimizing laboratory workflows for efficient and accurate microbiology testing.
- Conduct product installations, validations, and performance verifications at customer sites.
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of clinical microbiology principles, techniques, and laboratory practices.
- Experience working in a clinical microbiology laboratory, preferably with hands-on experience with microbiology diagnostic instruments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- IVD-Industry application support
- Good understanding of lab IT environment
