System Administrator (m/f/d) in Device Management - focus on macOS

Permanent position, full-time - Cologne

Your tasks

The device management team looks after over 120,000 end devices (Windows, macOS, Android and iOS) at various locations, both remotely and on site. It is responsible for the maintenance, care and further development of the client environment. Specifically, you will mainly deal with macOS-based devices.

• The (further) development of guidelines, in particular with regard to current security recommendations and standards
• The further development of our macOS client strategy
• 2nd level support (by phone, remote and on-site) and collaboration in the ticket system
• Simplifying administrative tasks with the help of scripts
• Participation in the planning, control and support of IT projects and plans (e.g. macOS major updates, QA measures, further development of the infrastructure)
• The creation of concepts and installation instructions

Your profile

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an IT specialist (or comparable) or an IT degree and have already gained several years of professional experience
• You have extensive administration knowledge of macOS-based devices in a business environment
• You have already worked with MDM solutions in the macOS environment (preferably Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Jamf School or Jamf Pro)
• You work just as well independently as in a team
• A good technical understanding, a pronounced service and solution orientation as well as a structured and careful way of working characterize you
• Ideally, you have a class B driving license
• Fluent written and spoken German is a prerequisite - English is an advantage

Your experience

Desirable (sound knowledge) in the following areas:

• You are familiar with various MDM and EMM solutions (e.g. Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Jamf Pro, Jamf School)
• You have gained experience in IT projects
• Creation of concepts and installation instructions
