Company Description Pott'd are a leading Arts & Craft company specialising in at-home pottery kits. We champion wellness and help our customer’s ditch their devices for some quality creative time. Role Description We are looking for a seasoned NPD Manager with strong creative skills, ideally from a design background. We are currently expanding our product and accessories range and would like a freelancer who can help on an ad-hoc basis. We work mostly remote but ideally you would be based in the UK so you can help with special projects or events. Main responsibilities
- The ideal candidate would be up to date with current trends.
- Research new product concepts and create detailed proposal.
- Create detailed briefs for packaging designers and clay creators.
- Be equipped in adobe suite, able to help out with design work if necessary.
- Test and benchmark products to ensure new product is informed and research projects thoroughly.
- Create cohesive instructions and guides for craft kits.
- Work closely with product team to prioritise and deliver projects on time.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Eye for trends and new products
- Strong artistic and creative abilities
- Ability to interpret and execute design briefs
- Experience in creating illustrations and digital artwork
- Experience in designing branding or packaging would be ideal
- Creating packaging die-cuts
- Product development
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in the arts and crafts industry is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the industry required
- Degree in related Subject
