SHEQ Administrator

We are looking for an experienced and diligent SHEQ Administrator to join a growing group of businesses who dominate the plant hire industry. Supporting the SHEQ Consultant and working across the group to ensure that all elements of SHEQ activity are reaching the necessary standards, bringing consistency as the relevant review cycles are undertaken and accreditations are complete. This is a remote first position, will some travel to sites as required, ideally based around the Leeds area. Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the SHEQ Consultant, perform an annual review of all the documents to ensure that the business is up to date - liaising with document owners to commit to actions.
• Archiving.
• Manage all risk assessments and any changes made are authorised by the SHEQ Consultant.
• Using internal systems, ensure that all data is uploaded timely and with accuracy.
• Maintain the approved contractor list, removing all non-compliant contractors.
• Manage the contractor approval process - reviewing and recording relevant documentation.
• Refer all level 1 applications to the SHEQ Consultant for approval, also reviewing all level 2 applications to ensure they meet approval requirements.
• Manage LMS and training allocations.
• Attend and take notes at all senior management meetings for SHEQ.
• Ensure all certification is in date and renewal testing and inspection cycles are met including (but not limited to ) 5 year fixed wiring, Fire alarms, Fire extinguisher, Emergency lighting, asbestos and any other certification required across all sites and locations

• NEBOSH/IOSH desirable.
• 2-3 years experience in similar position.
• Strong understanding of SHEQ practises.
• The ability to work independently and in a team, being responsible for your own professional development.
• Great communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
