*Job title: Creative Director *Salary type : £80k-£120k (Depending on Experience)*Job type: Full time *Location: Office based in Notting Hill, Creative Dept don’t use - team is fully remote so there is a chance this may become a remote position (H/O CG in Italy, creative leads in Norway, Scotland and Mexico etc)**MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING ON PROJECTS THAT USE A CG PIPELINE AND COME FROM EITHER GAME PRODUCTION/ANIMATION/WEB3/ADVERTISING OR EQUIVALENT BACKGROUND Aquent is recruiting for an experienced Creative Director to join an Fintech company, operating in crypto space, developing tokens and brands to do well in that space. They are the market leaders in developing entertainment IP, building platforms and co-creating with the world’s biggest brands. Key Responsibilities:

  • Takes a creative idea from initial briefing all the way through to final delivery, overseeing and signing off on all creative elements of the process.
  • Directs creative vision across all projects.
  • Has final creative sign off ( pending founder approval ).
  • Creates or directs the creation of initial visual concepts and reference material.
  • Is responsible for development and maintenance of narrative and visual consistency across all projects.
  • Has enough experience in a CG Pipeline to determine basic workflow and scope of projects.
  • Works with the dept HODs to convey vision and talk through the technical execution - landing on a way forwards that protects the direction but is still achievable with available resources and budget.
  • Oversees creative feedback given at each key stage in the pipeline.
  • Works to define which areas of production are most valuable in order to dictate to production and HODs how to allocate resources.
  • Needs to have a good knowledge of the pipeline but ultimately relies on HODs to determine final output.
  • You will work closely with creative senior leadership and production in order to deliver the most exciting and efficient responses to briefs from the founders.
  • Managing a remote team of 4 and ensuring the team hits its weekly KPIs of outreach early-round interviews
  • Hiring and retaining remote talent acquisition team members
  • Building and maintaining talent pipelines for current and future job openings and
  • ensuring there is always a constant flow of new candidates coming in
  • Lead all sourcing efforts including finding and posting on local or job-specific recruitment boards that are relevant to the positions we are hiring for
  • Continuously improve job postings across different job boards to increase visibility and attract top talent
  • Ensure consistency across all public profiles, including websites, social media platforms, job posting boards, and job descriptions
  • Speak with the leadership team members to understand their talent needs and hiring urgency
  • Recommend amazing talent to hiring managers
  • Oversee all stages of the candidate experience and communication, from initial outreach messages to candidates, interviews, follow-ups, and public review communications
  • Foster positive relationships with candidates, ensuring they have a positive experience throughout the hiring process
Must Haves:
  • Experience in creative industries working with high profile clients/deliveries (game production, animation, advertising or equivalent).
  • A deep understanding and enjoyment of the artistic process.
  • Proven experience directing creative narrative within a team environment.
  • Experience working on projects that use a CG Pipeline - preferably hands on experience.
  • Range of experience in project scope, we’ll be working on small quick things and much larger projects.
  • A solution-oriented approach.
  • An ability to assess the time needed to complete different types of creative tasks during the viz dev process.
  • Strong visual communication skills, through draftsmanship, 3D artworking or equivalent.
