Apply now Job no: 994988 Work type: Full-Time Location: Melbourne - CBD & Inner Categories: Supply Chain, Administration, Design & Development We are looking for an experienced Garment Technician working across Women’s apparel Providing technical advice and support to the team around styling and fitting requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Establish and communicate standards relevant to fit, manufacturing and quality assurance of local and offshore product to achieve and support Witchery’s financial and branding objectives
  • Effective coordination of technical support with all suppliers involved in the division
  • Establish and maintain appropriate construction standards across all categories with all suppliers that aligns with Brands quality expectations
  • Assist in setting up all tech pack standards on PLM system for the Design team aligned to the critical path deadline dates
  • Review and approve fabric lab test reports and care labels and communicate changes to the supplier
The Ideal Candidate has
  • Experience operating at a Garment Technician level within a retail/apparel business
  • Experience using the PLM system
  • Proven understanding of offshore manufacturing and retail business acumen
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • A team player with a can do attitude
