Senior Oracle Database Migration Project Manager Mostly Remote working Might have to travel to Bracknell if required Duration: 3-6 months Senior Project Manager - Oracle Database Migration Experienced Senior Project Manager and shall be leading a large scale, complex Oracle database migration (11g to 23c) as part of a large scale tech refresh programme. Role: Senior Project Manager – Oracle Database Migration experience 11g to 12c. Home Based is ok, but may need to travel to a UK based client’s office from time to time. Role Purpose The Senior Project Manager's prime responsibility is to ensure that a complex high risk project or multiple projects, produces the required products, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost. The candidate must have a track record of demonstrable Oracle database migration projects to time, cost and quality. We are looking for an experienced, articulate, motivated, reliable and pragmatic Senior Project Manager to deliver this hugely important project. Skills Required Large scale Oracle migration project experience Covering Oracle database migration Oracle database upgrades Migration of servers from differing operating systems Performance testing Goldengate bidirectional replication Technically aware - capable of interacting with technical and non-technical team members Engaging/communicating with Oracle management, sales & support Awareness of escalation processes within Oracle Key Accountabilities Effective management of the project baseline Defines the project requirements, ensuring that the requirements catalogue traceability matrix is complete Manages the agreement process of the project requirements and objectives with the Project Board or appointed project assurance role. Operates along client’s working practices ensuring compliance with local project management policy and procedure Manages the production of the required products and the delivery of the project in partnership with the customer and business unit to ensure acceptance.
