The pharmacy team work closely with the GP practices to provide seamless healthcare to the local community. We are passionate about patient care and are looking for like-minded Dispensers and Technicians who share our appetite to develop and deliver pharmacy services. Full training will be provided leading to recognised Pharmacy MCA qualifications and you will gain a wealth of experience, with the possibility to further training and opportunities leading to NVQ 2-3 Pharmacy Dispensing Qualifications. In addition to the above you will learn a huge amount about the NHS, Medicines, Pharmacy, Dispensing Processes and the services Pharmacists and Pharmacies provide to thousands of people on a daily basis in local communities. You can be part of a business providing a key NHS Healthcare Service. *Key Responsibilities** Ensure safe and efficient provision of pharmacy service * Support all dispensing processes including MDS and Care Homes to ensure safe and efficient pharmacy service * Oversee & develop over the counter (OTC) offering * Pharmacy opening/closing * Engage in mandatory CPD & attend training events *Requirements** Pharmacy MCA * Pharmacy NVQ2* Excellent communication skills * Customer focused and friendly * Excellent numeracy skills * Self-motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines * Ability to prioritise work load *Training** Fully paid training * Fully Progressive Programme with a formal Pathway * Blood pressure testing * First Aid & CPR Training * Opportunity to become Pharmacy ACT Technician with GPhC *Hours of Work** Full Time Permanent * Monday – Friday * Weekend Rota *Salary & Benefits** Competitive dependent on qualifications and experience * Salary review along with Training and Qualifications Progression * 20-days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays * 10% staff discount for OTC and Health & Beauty purchases * Contributory Pension Scheme * Fully funded training for pharmacy services * Fully paid training to NVQ3 This is a fantastic opportunity not to be missed!
