Profiles will include location number of beds patient rations and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Data Collection:11/28/23Unit Information: Intermediate Care (IMC)Location: Las Palmas Medical CenterBuilding: AFloor: 5thOrder Detail:Facility Department Number: 74926Discipline: DialysisQuantity: N/ATarget Start Date:Shift:Call Requirements: YesWeekends: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week scheduleGeneral InformationTell us about the unit(s):Number of Beds N/A we have a multi room where we can do up to 4 patients at a time but we also do 1:1 at the bedside in the patient rooms we also cover patients at Las Palmas RehabNumber of Staff 10Type of staff:Day Shift all nurses are dayshift however they work late in evening or night sometimes depending how may patient we have and role. 1st call start no later than 0730 and will dialyze hemodialysis and peritoneal patients in the Main Dialysis Unit and floor units; 2nd callwill arrive no later than 0800 will support First Call and will assist with hemodialysis and peritoneal patients in the Main Dialysis Unit and floor units. Peritoneal Dialysis patients at Rehab needing to be disconnected in the A.M. will be performed by Second Call. Third Call will arrive no later than 0800 and will start in ER/ICU and in isolation patient s rooms one to one. Hemodialysis treatments at Rehab will be dialyzed by third call or by first or second call if there are no other patients in the Main Campus. Day Call will arrive no later than 0800 and will start in ER/ICU and in isolation patient s rooms one to one. Day call will be the first to be flexed out and so forthNight Shift We cover the needs of the hospital 24/7 so staff may be called in if emergentPatient Ratios Patients out of critical areas ratio is 1 dialysis RN to 2 patients (1:2) or up to 1:4 with Dialysis Tech.
