Senior Data Scientist
Job details
Design and implement time series machine learning algorithms to improve the accuracy of short-term weather forecasts, focusing on renewable energy production and extreme weather alerts.
Analyze and interpret complex datasets related to weather conditions, radar and satellite imagery, atmospheric and climate variables.
Develop and maintain algorithms for real-time and predictive weather analytics.
Build predictive models for various weather scenarios, utilizing machine learning and statistical modeling techniques.
Enhance our radar and satellite image recognition capabilities, employing techniques such as deep learning and computer vision.
Work closely with our meteorology team and continually improve existing models based on changing climate patterns and research advancements.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field of meteorology and data science and provide recommendations on how these advancements can be leveraged in our forecasting models and systems. Aranan Özellikler:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning.
Proven experience in developing and implementing machine learning algorithms, preferably with time series and forecasting algorithms.
Experience working with weather data, radar and satellite image recognition is a plus.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R.
Experience with data visualization tools and libraries.
Familiarity with SQL or other database technologies.
Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
