Senior Product Owner - Player Experience B2B

Working alongside product development teams to guide the development of our sportsbook and casino products. Using the Agile methodology working with the teams to ensure that stories, acceptance criteria, quality and functional goals are met for each release. You will build an excellent working relationship with the key stakeholders, translating business needs into requirements to create stories that form the teams backlogs. You will work with the Software Engineering Managers to prioritize them in order to give business value and represent the overall priorities. Key Deliverables Product Strategy

• Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and help develop the product strategy and
• roadmap.
• Work with managers in your area, help to define and clearly communicate a prioritised roadmap that implements the product and technology strategy, including measurable improvements to support the key business goals.
• Work with relevant stakeholders at the operators, including the development teams, to drive areas of integration.
• Contribute to a long term high level refined roadmap and a short term detailed backlog your responsible area.
• Effectively communicates strategy and deliverables to teams.
• Ensure development effort is balanced and meets agreed budgets.
• Responsible for making sure that the products in your area have a clear vision
• Contributes to setting product targets.

• Builds and maintains excellent stakeholder relationships across the company.
• Champion and advocate of a product, keeping the business and stakeholders informed of the work delivered and benefits to the business/customers.
• Collaborates with peers, counterparts, and team members across the company to ensure Product teams are collaborating and that we are all working towards to strategic goals for the product.
• Actively seeks input from internal and external stakeholders and completes competitor analysis to keep abreast of industry and best practice.
• Understands the strategic and competitive position of the product, carrying out competitive analysis and delivering value adding increments.
• Has expert knowledge of the product area and the associated business domain.
• Identifies leaner and more efficient ways of working to ensure we keep lead time to a minimum.
• Ensures our product is compliant with both regulatory and data protection requirements.

• Works with the development team to deliver key milestones, including managing and prioritising the backlog to ensure the work items delivered meet expectations and priority.
• Understands high level Epic requirements and decomposes these into smaller packages of work for implementation within the development team.
• Accepts or rejects the team's output and where applicable take responsibility for releasing the change into production
• Responsible for ensuring release notes are clear and business friendly.
• Responsible for ensuring defects and bugs are prioritised against other deliverables.
• Ability to act independently, suggesting ideas and potential solutions and improvements to situations.
• Support development teams to ensure stories are supporting rapid deployment.
• Will be required to work hand-in-glove with teams in other business areas to ensure successful end2end delivery

• 5+ years experience in Product Ownership
• Knowledge and experience of working with Agile Scrum delivery methods.
• Creative thinking backed by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail, an ability to assimilate, sort and aggregate complex information quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Has a comprehensive understanding of the full life cycle of the software development process.
• Has a good attention to detail, can work well under pressure and able to adapt quickly to change.
• Experience of working with remotely located stakeholders and/or development team.
• Project management skills including, product based planning techniques, business case creation & maintenance, and issues & risks management.
• Knowledge of requirements capture and specification techniques, the ability to balance tactical and strategic needs and always focus on the priorities.
• Desired knowledge of and interest in the online gaming industry, particularly sports betting and Casino.
• Experience of managing multiple feature development in one backlog.
• Experience of managing projects and product roadmap priorities in parallel.
• A strong academic background (formal qualification,, Degree or equivalent experience)
• Knowledge of continuous integration.
