We're currently working with a market leading Insurer seeking the expertise of either a chemical or mechanical engineer to delve into technical analyses concerning liability-related risks. The primary objective is to influence loss ratios and play a pivotal role in shaping insurance decisions, particularly within the energy sector. As part of this role, you'll be tasked with thoroughly assessing both General and Product Liability risks, ensuring a consistent approach to selection and retention while fostering strong relationships with clients and brokers to pinpoint emerging risks in the industry. Your responsibilities will involve closely collaborating with internal underwriters to provide insights and recommendations, as well as conducting on-site visits for in-depth risk assessments. While prior experience in sectors such as oil & gas, power, or risk consulting is advantageous, candidates currently working within insurance companies or brokerage firms are also encouraged to apply. A Chemical/Mechanical Engineering is integral.
