Our client who operates across the aviation sector is looking for a RedHat Architect. As a Redhat Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of our company’s platform architecture. Your expertise in Red Hat technologies, including Red Hat IDM, Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Red Hat OpenShift, as well as storage and backup, will be critical in providing technical guidance and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable and 1 robust solutions. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, product owners, and development teams, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Design and develop a scalable and flexible platform architecture that supports the company’s current and future needs, leveraging Red Hat technologies, including Red Hat IDM, Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and Red Hat OpenShift. • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on Red Hat technologies, including Red Hat IDM, Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Red Hat OpenShift, as well as storage and backup solutions. • Ensure adherence to best practices, industry standards, and security protocols specific to Red Hat technologies and storage and backup solutions. • Evaluate and recommend appropriate Red Hat technologies, frameworks, and tools, including Red Hat IDM, Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and Red Hat OpenShift, to optimize the platform’s performance, reliability, and security. • Lead the implementation of the platform architecture, overseeing the development process, conducting code reviews, and resolving technical challenges related to Red Hat technologies, storage, and backup solutions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, database, and security teams, to ensure seamless integration and interoperability across systems. • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Red Hat technologies, including Red Hat IDM, Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and Red Hat OpenShift, as well as storage and backup solutions, emerging trends, and best practices, and apply them to continuously improve the platform architecture. • Identify and mitigate risks and bottlenecks in the development process, proactively resolving technical issues related to Red Hat technologies, storage, and backup solutions, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. • Act as a mentor and technical leader, providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and training to junior architects and development team members. Requirements : • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. • Minimum 7 years proven experience working as a Platform Architect, Technical Architect, or similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing scalable, distributed systems. • Strong subject matter expertise (SME) in Red Hat technologies, including Red Hat IDM, Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and Red Hat OpenShift. • Strong knowledge of system architecture, design patterns, and software development methodologies •Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. • Experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), with specific expertise in Red Hat OpenShift. • In-depth understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and integration patterns. • Knowledge of data modeling, database design, and SQL/NoSQL databases. • Experience with storage and backup solutions. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Remote / On-site:

  • This project can be delivered 95% on a remote basis, with occasional on-site visits to Brussels - all travel expenses will be accounted for.
