Established in 1990, and will 10 stores across Sydney, they are the first stop for both building industry professionals as well as owner builders across NSW who are looking for quality products from major brands, and excellent customer service. With two highly successful stores on the Northern Beaches, they are now looking for customer service and retail superstars to join these growing teams. The Role Working with a motivated and enthusiastic sales team and reporting to the Branch Manager, the Customer Support Representative plays a vital role in ensuring that every customer receives an excellent level of support and customer service. With a good understanding of the construction industry, you will use your previous sales experience as well as your excellent communication and people skills to provide recommendations which support customers with their purchasing decision. You’re a friendly, engaging customer-focused individual who is looking to take the next step in your career. Duties Provide excellent standards of customer service and sales support for all customers – face-to-face, online and via email. Gain an understanding of the customers’ requirements, provide product recommendations based on their needs, and close sales. Keep up to date with product information, advising customers of product features and benefits. Process transactions, sales and purchase orders accurately using the ERP system. Order processing and the preparation of quotes. Software and hardware testing Manage difficult conversations with customers, ensuring that all customers are satisfied with the service and support provided. Organise delivery of ordered goods with suppliers in an accurate and timely manner. Work Monday to Friday, and Saturdays on a rotating roster. Skills and Experience Experience in developing trusted relationships with customers and providing a solutions-focused sales approach. Proven experience making and closing sales. Excellent communication and customer service skills The ability to work in a fast-paced, varied retail environment. A positive, collaborative and solution-focused attitude. Able to use Microsoft office suite and comfortable learning new software and systems. Knowledge of and experience in the construction/roofing industry will be highly regarded.
