Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the technology roadmap for the Equity Derivatives Systems Platform, aligning it with the business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Lead a team of talented technologists to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Equity Derivatives operations and business.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand their needs and priorities, translating them into technical requirements and actionable plans.
- Drive the adoption of advanced technologies to improve the performance and scalability of the systems.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the successful delivery and integration of third-party solutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments in technology and finance, providing strategic guidance and insights to senior management.
- Oversee the budget and financial planning for the Equity Derivatives Technology department, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles within the financial services industry, with a focus on Equity Derivatives.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of Equity Derivatives products, trading workflows, and risk management principles.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and modern software engineering practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
