Assistant Vice President, Loan Operations/ Administration (Operation)

Accountabilities: • Responsible for overall loan operation functions to personal banking customers, including loan booking, funds disbursement, loan rollover, payment, maintenance, fee collection and syndication agency function. • Deliver the best functional alignment, process priorities, key knowledge on banking controls, market and product knowledge, keep abreast with industry developments and alignment to business strategies and priorities • Establish and ensure adherence to departmental guidelines and compliance of the Bank's policy • Provide key operational risk capabilities in terms of identification of control and process gaps and mitigation, incidents management and resolution, define Key Performance Indicators to track performance and monitor Key Risks Indicators • Report all process deviations to VP (Limit Maintenance and Loan Administration) with recommendations to the process gaps, incidents and enhancements with a strong emphasis on controls, efficiency, capacity planning, best practice, process alignment and regulatory targets • Lead projects on development of new products, automation / enhancement of related systems and enhance customer experience • Perform regular tracking on deliverable quality and produce monthly report for senior management review • Conduct performance appraisal and provide coaching and training to subordinates • Handle ad-hoc matters and tasks assigned by Team Head from time to time Requirements
- Secondary education or above
- Minimum 8 years of relevant loan administration experience in Banking Industry with solid People Management skills
- Sound knowledge in various loan / credit products and relevant daily operations
- Thorough knowledge of banking policy and operation procedures
- Good knowledge in accounting principles
- Proficient in MS Office
- Prudent and attentive to details
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
