About the role As a Queue-it Business Development Associate, you’ll create quality connections with potential customers. You’ll be the first point of contact for our prospective clients in Oceania markets (Australia and New Zealand), generating business and playing a critical role in Queue-it’s continued growth. Responsibilities Create and qualify new sales opportunities. Develop and launch strategic awareness campaigns and engage in discovery calls to create and qualify new leads. Take full responsibility for researching, prospecting, and reporting for your assigned markets. You will become part of our Business Development Team focusing on the Oceania markets (Australia and New Zealand) andbecome our market expert. You’ll use tailored approaches that match the linguistic, cultural, and business specifics of your region. Foster growth through collaboration. Work closely with teams in our Sydney and Copenhagen offices to develop compelling, market-optimized content, convert leads into customers, and reinvigorate dormant accounts. While the role is based in Sydney, remote collaboration with the Copenhagen office is essential. Qualifications
- High school diploma required/ Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in outbound, including cold-calling required
- Knowledge and/or understanding of the full sales cycle
- Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience using CRM and other software applications
- A minimum of one year's full-time experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or related roles within the Oceania markets is required
- Fluency in Native-level Australian English is essential. Proficiency in one or more Asian languages is highly desirable for example: Malay (Bahasa Malaysia), Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia), Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese
- Is excited to research, strategize, and communicate with prospects to generate new business.
- Has the ability to undertake multiple tasks and projects at the same time with a detail-oriented and structured approach.
- Has a collaborative, global mindset and an enthusiasm for new business development and SaaS technology.
- Capable of independently and collaboratively initiating, establishing, and maintaining partnerships. Ability to work closely with our partnership team in the United States and engage in remote collaboration across time zones when necessary.
- Able to closely connect with our Copenhagen office through remote means, and there may be times when collaboration across different time zones is required.
