FIFO Airport Reporting Officer

ESS manages all aspects of large-scale accommodation facilities or “villages” for remote workers, providing essential comforts such as a hot meal, a clean bed, freshly laundered workwear to health and wellness facilities for those working away from home. This copper-gold mine is based 320km east of Port Hedland in the northern Pilbara region of Western Australia. The Position:

• Conduct regular airport inspections and safety checks.
• Monitor and report on airfield conditions, hazards, and incidents.
• Coordinate with air traffic control and ground crews.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and company policies.
• Assist in emergency response procedures when required

• Previous experience as an ARO or similar role is essential.
• Certificate IV in Aviation (Air Traffic Control) or relevant qualification.
• Strong understanding of aviation safety standards and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a FIFO environment and adapt to rostered shifts.
