Applications Programmer, full-time position available in the Administrative South office, Turlock, CA. ***This position does not offer fully remote work options. The selected candidate is required to be in-office. The Association currently provides lending services to approximately 5,200 customers with loan volume over $4.4 billion. Major commodities financed include dairy and almonds, in addition to irrigated field crops, cattle, wine grapes and walnuts. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: We are seeking a detail-oriented Applications Programmer to join our team of Business Intelligence professionals. The successful candidate will work closely with other BI team members to increase efficiencies across the association by creating new websites to streamline existing business processes. They will also work with the BI team to design and create tools and reports that provide information that association team members can use to enhance their decision making. We will provide training for candidates who are logical thinkers and enthusiastic learners. The Applications Programmer will participate in project development with cross functional teams in the Association:
- Participate in the design, development and maintenance of ASP.NET websites using C#.
- Produce SQL Queries, Views and Stored Procedures.
- Participate in the design, development and maintenance of SQL Server Integration Services packages.
- Present information through reports, spreadsheets, and other visualizations.
- Create technical documentation and maintain accurate data dictionaries.
- Publish, Schedule and Test Crystal Reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
- BA/BS degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent in experience.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of SQL and Object Oriented Programing concepts.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office/O365 Professional Suite applications.
- Ability to deliver ideas, provide demonstrations or preview new programs with a user group or individuals.
- Must have systems analysis and data processing skills in order to translate manual operations to automated processes.
