Position Description: They are looking for a senior technologist to lead the application development projects and transform legacy platform using modern development best practices. You will have a deep experience in system development in a financial organization, preferably buy-side equities. You will have experience with strategic software delivery lifecycle processes and be versed in architectural principles and practices. Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Drive the architecture, design and development of our applications.
- Manage application changes through the full development lifecycle across a wide range of technologies, e.g. Java, C#, Python, React JS.
- Integration of data between new and legacy internal systems and external and third-party systems with consistency of data across all systems.
- Work with management teams and analysts to translate business.
- Perform day-to-day leadership and thinking to the table, collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors, creating strategic target state solutions.
- A degree in engineering, computer science or similar.
- 10 years of experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing systems.
- An understanding of modern infrastructure engineering concepts.
- Ability to learn and work with emerging technologies, methodologies and solutions.
- Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships and achieve broader organizational goals.
- Written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
