Are you an excellent consultant clinical/forensic/neuro psychiatrist looking to do some medicolegal work? Joining us couldn’t be easier:    Role description:  · Provision of high quality independent expert witness written reports and oral evidence in both criminal and civil proceedings · We have a friendly and supportive backroom team, allowing you to focus on the clinical work while we provide all the administrative/secretarial/billing services. · We have a wide range of referrals, so you can specify areas of interest. · The hours of work are very flexible. This allows you to keep other positions in the NHS or private sector if you prefer, and use this work to supplement your salary. · You can choose your own working hours on weekdays, evenings or even weekends. · We promote remote assessments where possible. This provides ultimate flexibility and convenience for both the clinician and the patient. We still offer face-to-face if it is more appropriate to do so. · You will always have access to supervision and feedback from experienced consultants, allowing you to learn and develop your expertise on the job. · You will be paid following completion of the work, avoiding the need to chase fees and the risk of not being paid.    Essential Requirements for the role: · Fully registered medical practitioner on GMC Specialist Register · Section 12 approval · Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists · Relevant employment experience as a consultant psychiatrist · Experience of preparing psychiatric reports (clinically or for medicolegal work)· Good understanding of relevance of mental disorder in Court proceedings · Ability to work well with colleagues · Ability to develop positive professional relationships with patients, as confirmed by their positive feedback · Excellent time management skills
