Staff Specialist - Gastroenterologist

The Position Our client has a great opportunity for a Gastroenterologist to join the team on a Full Time basis. You must either hold registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Gastroenterologist or be aGeneral Physician with substantial experience and interest in Gastroenterology The Location Situated on the edge of a harbour bigger than Sydney's, this is a beautiful, fascinating tropical city, a melting pot of people and cultures that prides itself on its unique and friendly laid-back lifestyle. The Facility This is a Tertiary level 3 Teaching Hospital with just under 400 beds and around 1,700 staff. The hospital services a population of 200,000 in a catchment area including urban communities, regional hospitals and remote Aboriginal communities. The hospital is affiliated with Flinders University with an onsite Medical School and is ACEM accredited as a major referral centre for two years of advanced emergency training. The Requirements To apply you must either be:

• Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience in Gastroenterology
• OnRACP training program
• Hold the FRACP
• IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
• IMG'swith RACP interview date
• IMG's assessed by RACPand found to be substantially comparable.
