Please note, we can only accept applications from candidates who live (or are willing to live) in the following states: CA, WA, TX, CO, MA, FL, ME, IN, SD, & VT As the Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for coordinating Catalate’s marketing activities; building out our brand presence through campaigns, driving awareness and requests for demos of our capabilities, and leveraging all tools available to bring insights back to the team. This position will report to the Head of Marketing and is a non-supervisory with no direct reports. The Marketing Manager will bring a proactive, organized, and creative mentality to every project—whether that be writing social posts, coordinating print and digital advertising, arranging trade show presence, supporting content creation, or researching opportunities to expand our reach. As part of a growing company, you’ll be integral to building momentum for Catalate’s presence in the resorts and attractions space. You’ll work closely with leadership, but you can expect that you’ll be the owner of an ongoing array of team projects like these:
- Oversee Catalate’s sales collateral catalog, ensuring materials are up to-date with our latest product configurations and producing new materials as needed
- Keep our content calendars on track and schedule out social media and email campaigns.
- Contribute meaningfully to content creation (think things like selecting and editing images or writing copy) for campaigns at all stages of the funnel and across channels like email, social media, and whitepapers
- Work closely with the Sales and Account Management teams to select partners, gather information, and write case study drafts that shine a light on our best client relationships and platform use cases
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry trade organizations, keeping memberships up to date where applicable, presenting sponsorship opportunities to leadership, and managing registration, sponsorships, and presence at face to face events
- Coordinate relevant team meetings including scheduling, material gathering, note taking, and task follow ups
- Coordinate with contractors for material translations and design needs
- Monitor, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of both organic and paid marketing initiatives. Contribute to team decision making based upon insights gained from analysis
- A degree in marketing or a similar field, or equivalent work experience. We want to ensure you understand marketing best practices and principles
- A minimum of 2-3 years work experience in a multi-channel marketing role involving both planning and execution, plus a passion for learning
- A fascination with engaging lead generation and curating customer journeys from online to IRL
- Past experience writing copy for a brand or organization, with an understanding of how to apply brand voice across any channel
- Relevant experience with common marketing tools & terminology. You know what we mean when we say: Marketing Automation, CRM, CMS, Analytics, SEO, SEM, and the like
- Flawless organization. You’ll need to manage many projects and priorities, ensuring team members or contractors are contributing on time and on spec
- You’re technically capable, an excellent communicator, and have a desire to improve processes
- Collaborative mindset; our tight-knit team ideates freely, produces quickly, and improves weekly
- And, of course, you will enthusiastically champion all things Catalate and continually promote Catalate’s brand identity across appropriate avenues
- Here are some of the tools we use. Bonus points if you have experience with the following: Hubspot Marketing Automation & CRM, Wordpress, Salesforce, Zoominfo, Outreach, Google Ads, Canva
- An interest in meaningful career development — you’re hungry to expand your skill set via both your own learning and learning opportunities provided by Catalate
- Ability to get the true startup experience — tons of tough decisions with real impacts on the business.
- A real say in the future of the company — you'll be a valued member of the team whose ideas about how to grow a world-class company will be vital to our success.
