- Knowledge and experience in the Medicare Benefits Schedule and its application in the ATSICCHS setting.
- Technology competence.
- Qualified Medical Practitioner, holding unconditional current registration with AHPRA.
- Eligible for unrestricted Medicare Provider Number.
- Knowledge, understanding and sensitivity towards the social, economic, and cultural factors affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s health.
- Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD) – essential.
- Satisfactory police check – no serious Criminal/Court record.
- Current Blue Card (working with children and young people) or willingness to apply for a Blue Card.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required, including the requirement to travel (by road and small plane), work and stay overnight in remote areas.
