Description Summary: The CHRISTUS Ochsner Health Float Pool is established to provide supplemental staffing to the SWLA Ministry while providing excellent patient care. Float Pool Associates will receive an elevated compensation rate and are required to comply with all CHRISTUS policies, procedures, and patient care standards. There is no guarantee, expressed or implied, that Associate will receive any set amount of hours to work each week. Required 4 years of RN experience in Medical Surgical. Requirements: Graduate of a State Board accredited School of Nursing or equivalent Current RN license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Louisiana American Heart Association BLS – within two (2) weeks of employment Required 4 years of RN experience in Medical Surgical Current ACLS certification at time of hire or within 12 weeks of hire for experienced RNs Current PALS certification at time of hire or within 12 weeks of hire for experienced RNs Current TNCC and ENPC certification within 12 months of hire for experienced RNs Current NIHSS certification at time of hire or within 90 days of hire for experienced RNs Arrhythmia recognition within 8 weeks of hire Current de-escalation training or completion within 90 days of employment with annual recertification Moderate Sedation within 3 months of hire for experienced RNs Special weekend and holiday requirements that will be discussed at time of interview Work Type: Per Diem As Needed EEO is the law - click below for more information: We endeavor to make this site accessible to any and all users.
