Our client is currently seeking a talented, innovative and motivated Scientist, to join their Biotherapeutics Discovery Group at their Ridgefield, CT facility. This is a fully benefitted role which includes, paid PTO, subsidized medical benefits and company holidays. Pay rate range 40-60/hr depending on experience. Summary As a scientist, you will help aid in LC/MS-based analytical techniques, computational programing, and will be responsible for Mass Spectrometry (MS) quality control (QC) support for CRO-produced proteins/ antibodies. You will help develop automation platforms and writing mass spectrometry-related computer programs to support the Biotherapeutics Discovery team. You will help coordinate with the protein scientists and/or project leaders and be accountable for writing MS QC reports, interpreting results, and may in the future collaborate with IT to assist redesign of our workflow software. You will also help develop automation workflows and routines for other groups within the department. In addition, you will operate lab equipment, maintain initiates, complete routine procedures and method development in an independent and efficient manner.
