We encourage abalance of working in the office and remotely and we believe this enables our people to do their best work.  About the role As a Circulation and Insights Analyst, you’ll be able to blend your love of data and data analytics with your ability to communicate the story behind the data to help influence companywide decisions. This role is responsible for executing the distribution strategy across a portfolio of titles as well as, sales reporting and analysis, and insights delivery; providing actionable insights to support business decisions across content and cover strategy to help continue to drive the company’s main revenue stream. You will work closely within a cohesive and collaborative team members on a portfolio of titles and be the main department point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for your managed portfolio. Duties
  • Provide quality analysis and insights into individual magazine title performance as well as market trends, through the use of internal data and external databases ie ABS Census Data, Shopper Insights Data
  • Reporting on sales weekly, monthly and yearly back to all internal stakeholders - ie forecasting, budgeting etc.
  • Influence and support internal stakeholders (Editors, Publishers, and Executive Team) on decisions to optimise retail sales with content and covers, by insights from the internal and external data sources to help maximise revenue across the business
  • Reporting on sales weekly, monthly, and yearly back to all internal stakeholders
Skills and experience
  • Story telling ability
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and MS Office suit
  • Communication skills and the ability to deal with all stakeholder levels
  • Knowledge or experience in Media or FMCG is desirable
  • Ability to multitask with high attention to detail
  • Ability to aggregate and summarise data
