The Advanced Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for Installation, maintenance and repair of diagnostic systems, immunochemistry, clinical chemistry and automation systems. This position is part of the Field Service Team and will be remote in the Halle (Saale), Leipzig or Jen area. You will be a part of the Field Service Team and report to the Regional Service Manager responsible for Customer Support. - Â Installation, maintenance and repair of diagnostic systems, immunochemistry, clinical chemistry and automation systems
- Compliance with the relevant regulations such as MPG, MedGV and VDE as well as the Beckman Coulter quality regulations
- Brief instruction of users in the laboratory and answering technical questions from our customers
- Organization and optimization of the personal spare parts inventory
- Timely completion of all administrative tasks such as recording customer service reports using Service Max
- You have completed training as a technician and/ or comparable training in the natural science / technical field experience.
- Strong technical knowledge (mechanics/electronics)
- You bring very good communication skills as well as sound PC and German/English knowledge as further prerequisites for this challenging task.
- Willingness to travel, valid driving license class B
- Experience in a technical service organization ideally in the health care business
- Applicable knowledge of regulations and standards concerning IVDs
- Installation, Wartung und Reparatur von Diagnosesystemen, Immunchemie, klinischer Chemie und Automatisierungssystemen
- Einhaltung der einschlägigen Vorschriften wie MPG, MedGV und VDE sowie der Beckman Coulter Qualitätsvorschriften
- Kurzeinweisung der Anwender im Labor und Beantwortung technischer Fragen unserer Kunden
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Kollegen aus den Bereichen Vertrieb, Applikation, Service-Hotline und Service-Disposition
- Organisation und Optimierung des persönlichen Ersatzteillagers
- Zeitnahe Erledigung aller administrativen Aufgaben wie z.B. die Erfassung von Kundendienstberichten mit Service Max
- Sie haben eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Techniker und/ oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung im naturwissenschaftlich-technischen Bereich 3-5 Jahre Erfahrung.
- Ausgeprägte technische Kenntnisse (Mechanik/Elektronik)
- Sie bringen ein hohes Maß an Selbständigkeit mit und sind es gewohnt, eigenverantwortlich zu handeln.
- Sehr gute kommunikative Fähigkeiten sowie fundierte PC- und Deutsch/Englisch-Kenntnisse bringen Sie als weitere Voraussetzungen für diese anspruchsvolle Aufgabe mit.
- Reisebereitschaft, gültiger Führerschein Klasse B
- Erfahrung in einem technischen Dienstleistungsunternehmen, idealerweise im Gesundheitswesen
- Einschlägige Kenntnisse der Vorschriften und Normen zu IVDs.
