Universal Precision Technology is a well-established organization that specializes in the manufacturing of precision components and sub-assemblies for the aerospace, aircraft, military, medical, optical and defense sectors. We are looking to increase our diverse and dynamic team with the addition of skilled individuals.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Set-up and operate multiple CNC Machines* Utilize and comply with all AS9100 REV D and ISO 9001:2008 manufacturing and quality standards* Verify dimensions of parts and tools using precision measuring instruments* Abide with instructions, regulations and safety policies* Keep machines and surrounding area clean while maintaining a safe work environment* Other duties may be assignedQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION* Minimum 2 years demonstrated ability to set up and operate CNC’s Mills or Lathes* Ability to read and interpret drawings* Excellent knowledge of tooling and the ability to interpret results from CMM* Effectively communicate information with managers and other employees* Motivated to learn and able to work independently with minimal supervision* Willingness to cross train on other types of machinery is an asset* Esprit Programming knowledge is an assetADDITONAL REQUIREMENT* Basic security clearance* Own Steel-toe safety shoesBENEFITS* Competitive wages* Excellent Benefit package* Deferred Profit-Sharing Plan* 8-4:30pm hours with lots of overtime opportunity* Full-time*Apply online or in person at: *350 Dosco Drive, Stoney Creek, ON L8E 2N5* *Check us out at: * Types: Full-time, PermanentFlexible Language Requirement:* French not requiredSchedule:* 8 hour shift* OvertimeSupplemental pay types:* Overtime payExperience:* CNC lathe: 5 years (required)Work Location: In person
