  • Regional, rural and remote $$$ incentives
Permanent full-time, 76 hours per fortnight. This role will assist nursing, medical and surgical staff within the theatre complex to ensure a safe and efficient work area. Duties include, but are not limited to, transportation of patients to and from departments. The Operating Theatre suite has 3 operating rooms with elective lists run from Mon-Fri, and offers an emergency 24/7 service.   • base salary ranges between $62,977 and $65,789 p.a. (OO3).
  • 4 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 17.5% loading

  • Ability to learn and follow service quality standards, and occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
  • The appointee will be required to carry out frequent and repetitive lifting, manual handling of goods and patients.
  • Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant.
  • VPD risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Tuberculosis and COVID-19.
  • A 3-month probationary period may apply.
