Job details
This job is responsible for microbial testing and sampling of utilities (water & gas). This position will also support environmental sampling (Grade C&D areas).You need to be experienced in four types of EM testing (Viable using air sampler, Passive by settle plates, surface monitoring by contact plate/swab and Non-viable air sampler). Water sampling in a production facility.Responsibilities:Prepare Supplies for water & gas samplingSample, log-in and distribute water and gas samples as per established proceduresPerform bioburden analysis of water samples as per established proceduresPerform microbial analysis of water and compressed gasesParticipate in daily water sampling of manufacturing plant that could involve heights over 3 metersPrepare weekly water reports as per established proceduresParticipate in cleaning and other housekeepingReport any anomalies between sampling procedures and execute sampling related to validation performance qualification protocols for the water systemAssist in investigative sampling and in identifying root causes related to water system issuesQualifications:College diploma or Degree with 1- 2 years of related experienceStrong understanding of GMPExcellent aseptic technique (an asset) and good working knowledge of preventing microbial contaminationData analysis, statistics and report preparation with knowledge of MS Word, Excel & OutlookThe position requires vaccination for Hepatitis A & BSome weekend work may be required on occasion
