CNC Mill-Turn MachinistCNC Industries is a prominent manufacturer of OEM components for the Mining, Construction, Earthmoving Industries, and specialized parts used in the Oil Extraction process. We want individuals who will form a solid and diverse team of people dedicated to servicing the Mining and Oil & Gas sectors.Start Date: Immediately.Wage Range: $38 - 45 / hour depending on experience.Location: 3291 8 St, Nisku, AB T9E 8T3Shifts Available: Day Shift & Night shift.What We Offer:Shift PremiumsBonus Rewards & Recognition ProgramCompany paid Extended Health and Dental BenefitsRRSP MatchFitness Centre on siteKey Responsibilities:At all times, the Machinist will be responsible for ensuring the Health & Safety of themselves, their peers and customers in an environmentally friendly manner.Machine various oilfield and mining components in single or multiple operations, including performing complex programming.Perform full set-up and operate 5 axis mill-turn machine with Siemens control.Perform full set-up and operate machines on trial runs to verify accuracy of machine settings orprogrammed controlled data; performing first article manufacturing when required.Provide all needed training and mentoring of new employees as needed.Promote a positive work environment and adopt a culture of continuous improvement in the areas of Quality, Health & Safety and Productivity.Assist in overseeing the execution of work orders issued to the shop, documenting, and reporting any deficiencies with recommended effective solutions.Record measurements and fill out inspection log sheets as required.Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines as required.Communication with team members, Team Leads and Managers regarding specific jobs workflow, incidents and other.Recommend measures to improve quality results, production methods, equipment performance and product quality.Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Minimum ten (10) years Machining experienceExperience setting up and running DMG Mori Mill-Turns, Mazak Integrex or similar mill-turn machines required.Experience programming and editing with Siemens control required.Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Sigma Six and /or other Continual Improvement experience an assetExtensive knowledge of tooling, calibrated equipment, part loading & clamping andmachine maintenanceExperience in Oil & Gas and Mining machiningStrong verbal and written communication skillsInterest and the ability to learn new applications, tools, and technology.Keen attention to detail and meticulous delivery of the highest quality of standards andaccuracy; strong organizational skillsMust be open to continuous learning and improvement.Able to lift to 50 lbAbility to program & edit machines codes.
